Children’s Clinic

The Children’s Clinic needed a fresh new look in the check-in areas, exam rooms, waiting areas & staff areas. Emphasis was placed on spaces that were safe, easy to clean, and created an overall happy atmosphere for parents, staff, doctors, and most of all, the children.

We initially knew we needed to open up the main hallway to create a better flow for patients and staff to welcome and assist patients from the time they walk into the door. The aesthetic needed to provide a friendly and welcoming experience for its young patients, without being too childish for teens and parents.

Our approach was to utilize clean and neutral finishes with bold pops of color. We introduced vinyl materials in bright, fun colors. Furniture was selected that could easily hold up to regular cleanings that help fight infection control and keep patients and staff safe and healthy. We added new neutral cabinetry, LVP flooring, and quartz countertops to serve as the neutral background of the design and provide efficient storage and work areas for the staff and doctors. We also worked with a super talented local muralist to create one of a kind fun and bright artwork that lined the waiting rooms and halls through the building, bringing life and personality into the overall design.

The final outcome is open, welcoming, fun, and brings a smile to everyone that has walked into the space.
